About The Jeff Davis Band
Jeff was one of the first artists to hire me in NYC and I have been lucky to be in his group since it began in 2006. I love Jeff’s tunes, some of which were recorded for Jeff’s debut CD, We Sleep Outside, on Loyal Label.
Along with Jeff and I, Jonathan Goldber and Eivind Opsvik round out the original members of this group. After tenor saxophonist Tony Barba moved to Chicago in 2009 we have worked with other greats like Tony Malaby, Oscar Noriega and Jason Rigby. My good friend Matt Pavokla also fills in when Eivind is away.
