I have always wanted to play with the master saxophonist Ted Brown. So, I approached Ted and Nils Winther of SteepleChase records with the idea of making a record with Ted and everyone was on-board! Ted and I began rehearsing over several months at my apartment in Brooklyn, where we played a number of songs that Ted has written over the last 50 years. The CD was recorded in October of 2011, and it should be out within the year. This stellar quartet also includes John Hebert on bass and Matt Wilson on drums. The great Ziv Ravitz played with us on the gig pictured below.
