Petr Cancura’s “Lonesome” Quartet and “Big Sky”

I play in two groups led by the great saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Petr Cancura. Petr’s compositions are inspired by black and white photography and have many influences, including bluegrass music.

The quartet includes Garth Stevenson and Tyshawn Sorey on bass and drums, and Big Sky includes Brian Drye - trombone, Garth Stevenson - bass, Richie Barshay - drums and Jesse Lewis - guitar.
