Josh Roseman’s Extended Constellation’s / King Froopy Allstars
I have been a fan of Josh’s since I first heard him on a record with Lester Bowie when I was 19. Playing with him is always a treat and his compositions are both challenging and fun. We played Summer Stage in Central Park in 2011 on a bill with Jim Black’s Alas No Axis and Medeski Martin and Wood.
In 2009, we recorded the band and Josh is in the post-production process for this record-I can’t wait to hear it! The band has a great lineup with: Jacob Wick-trumpet, Curtis Hasselbring and Jacob Garchik-trombones, Andew D’angelo and Myron Walden-saxes, Ted Poor and Peter Apfelbaum-drums, Barney McCall keyboards and Noah Garabedian-bass.
